 Hi! I'm doing an independent study on the pre-raphaelite poets and artists to make up a few credits at my school, and I found this website while searching for a print of "La Belle Dame Sans Merci" which, horribly enough, isn't in my "Victorian Painting" text. I just wanted to say that this website is beautiful, and I particularly loved the little animated gif of "La Belle Dame Sans Merci" reflected in water. I'm definitely bookmarking this site! |

Words can barely begin to describe what I have seen today. I was before simply a fan of Waterhouse,but now I am truly a follower of his style and can only hope to capture that ethereal,mystical quality he is so reknowned for in my own paintings. |

I love this! It´s such a beautiful site! I have loved Pre-Raphelite paintings since I was about 5 years old, and recently a friend told me to look up "La Belle Dame Sans Merci" by JWW because I look just like her. Amazingly enough, it actually really does! Anyway, your site is so wonderful that it allowed me to send the painting to several friends so they can also marvel at this unusual discovery! Thanks.
