	John Waterhouse was my favourite artist for as long as I could remember. When I was three, my mother gave me a poster of the Lady of Shalott and, being too young to comprehend who she was, I would make up stories about the "strange lady in the boat" and eventually wrote them down. In grade five, my art teacher asked us in art class who our favourite artist was. Most said "Picasso" or some other artist's name half-remembered from an overheard conversation. I eagerly shouted out to my teacher, "John Waterhouse, one of the best pre-raphaelites out there!" Needless to say she was amazed. I am fifteen now, and I would like to think I am a full-fledged Waterhouse fanatic. It was not until about a month ago when I started to search for Waterhouse on the Net. Most of my endeavours produced two or three badly-disproportioned JPEG's compiled sloppily by someone using a free domain. Then, I just typed in www.jwwaterhouse.com and waited for the result... Alan, I would be honoured to give you a standing ovation for your spectacular site. jwwaterhouse.com is not only tastefully and flawlessly presented, it gives a wonderful tribute to the artist and is BY FAR the best artist's site that I have found thus far. 	I fell in love with "The Lady of Shallot" at work, it hangs in a hallway here, never thought I could find it and own a print. Then I found "The Magic Circle" and fell in love with JW Waterhouse.
